Join me for the fourth yoga class in a series of seven where we explore each chakra a little deeper! The heart chakra, or anahata, which means "unstruck" in Sanskrit correlates to our heart, lungs, arms, respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Emotionally, it's connected to compassion, loving kindness, and our ability to forgive. It is often referred to as the bridge chakra, as it connects our lower 3 chakras (body/physical world) to our upper 3 chakras (spirit).
The element associated with the heart chakra is air and the colors are green and pink. Get ready for a balanced flow style yoga class focused on heart openers.
Of course, there will be aromatherapy and essential oils to help open and balance this center heart chakra too!
